Mission and Vision

To break the cycle of poverty by demonstrating God’s love in providing housing, comprehensive support and accountability to mothers, children, and senior women.

Tandem Journey is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit Florida corporation founded in 2023.  Our housing program will provide housing, support, and hope to single/expectant mothers, their children, and senior women.

Supportive services (counseling, transportation, life-skills training, discipleship/mentoring) construct a bridge that enables women and their children to transition out of poverty.  Senior women are given the opportunity to become surrogate grandmothers and mentors in a caring and collaborative environment.

Meet the Team

About Jennifer

I am a wife and a mom to two teenagers, but most importantly, I am a child of God.  I graduated from University of Florida with a Masters of Accounting and worked in public accounting for more than 20 years.  As a mom, I have loved serving with Young Lives Jacksonville for many years and mentoring other moms along the way.  This life is not easy, but we can help and encourage one another.  I desire to educate and love on women who are looking for hope and support to meet the challenges of this world.  I am passionate about this call God has placed on my heart, and I look forward to nurturing new beginnings!
